My Story

Hi, I’m Bobby - coach, founder and most importantly product of Mentally Buff!  What do I mean by product? Buckle up and I’ll fill you in.

I landed an executive sales position with a Fortune 500 company. From the outside looking in, I was CRUSHING it, but there was a problem…I…was…miserable.  Sure the career opportunity was a dream, but it was someone else's dream. To add gasoline to the fire, I was out of shape, stressed, underperforming in my career and relationships, and felt as though I was only touching a fraction of my potential.  Sound familiar? 

I wanted to lead, I wanted to inspire, I wanted to IMPACT, but how could I do this if I wasn’t willing to become the example?  It wasn’t until I hit rock bottom that I made the DECISION to live a different life.  The life I finally chose, the life that I would design.

Over the next three years I got in AND stayed in the best shape of my life, completed 75 Hard 3x, earned my credentials as an ACE certified personal trainer, helped countless people like WHO they saw in the mirror, graduated top of my class with a Masters of Counseling, completely restructured and revamped my mindset, and spearheaded the sales initiatives for a SaaS startup that soared to 7-figures!

Does the story end here? 

HELL no. 

I was inspired to bring my lessons learned and changes earned into the lives of others. This led me to providing HUNDREDS of hours of wellness and mindset coaching services to a nationally ranked private school for young men. 

This is not about creating a physical OR a mental transformation. 

This is about creating a physical AND a mental transformation.

My life changed because I changed. Every challenge, obstacle, hurdle and moment of adversity allowed me to develop into a man capable of inspiring a similar change in others.

I spent 3 years becoming the living proof that you can achieve the desired change that you seek. You may feel lost, hopeless, frustrated, or overwhelmed. Trust me, I know because I was too. But I have good news…
